Last week we studied traditional Western paper making. To get a good sense of the production techniques and sequence, we setup a paper making studio. Working in pairs, we rotated around the assembly line stations until dozens, if not hundreds, of sheets of paper had been made. Hence, our high "vatting average" (I just couldn't resist a bit of cheeky paper humor!) Next week we will "size" our handmade paper... stay tuned!
